Trial Version: (05/28/2001) You can down load a trial version of the Animal*Trac 99 product (Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000, XP). It is a 9 MB file so will be a time consuming download. The trial period is for 15 Days. Be sure to indicate you have been using the Trial so we can give you the unlock code or give you instructions on how to install without losing existing data. To install the Animal*Trac System Trial: Make a new folder on your hard drive named ATDOWNLD. Click here to Download Animal Trac 99 Trial. Read the rest of the instructions before clicking. Save the file to disk into the new folder (C:\ATDOWNLD). After the download has completed, find the file named ATTrial.exe in the C:\ATDOWNLD folder using Windows Explorer Double click the downloaded file then click Extract to extract it within the ATDOWNLD folder. To install the System, from ADD/REMOVE Programs in the Control Panel (if you have Windows 2000, click the CD or Floppy button to browse for the file), Browse to find the folder (ATDOWNLD) where you extracted the files and double click on Setup.exe. Then answer the questions as they come up to complete the installation. At the end of the installation, there will be some prompts to install the Calendar Components. Answer Yes or OK or Continue to all questions if you are running Windows 95 or 98. If you are running windows NT or 2000 or ME or XP, answer no the that question so the installer will skip registration. IF THE INSTALLER HANGS AT THE END OF THE INSTALL PROCESS WHEN YOU GET TO THESE QUESTIONS, USE CTRL/ALT/DEL AND END TASK TO QUIT THE INSTALLER. YOUR TRIAL VERSION WILL BE FUNCTIONAL. When you first start the program click "Run as Trial" to get into it. Then type in 455PROF when you are asked for the Access Code. This will give you a trial of the Professional System. Download Presentation Demo of Animal Trac Version 4 for Windows This demo is a slide show presentation and tutorial that explains how the Animal Trac System works and walks you through the various features of both the Basic and Professional Systems. The download is much faster than the download of the trial version. Since this presentation is like a tutorial as well it will help you use the trial version if you decide to download it. Print this page so you will have a copy of the instructions on how to install the demo. Click here Download Animal Trac demo and Save the File to Disk. Put it in a folder where you will be able to find it later. The file name is NewDemo.exe. After download is complete, find the file in Windows Explorer. Double Click it to "Extract " it. You can let it extract into the same folder that it is in. Click the Extract Button. Now you have 2 files. Double click on the PngSetup.exe file. This process will install the demo on your hard drive. Type c:\atdemo in the Path box and click OK. This way you can remember where it is if you want to run it again later. The Demo Install will ask you if you want to run the demo. If you click Yes it is supposed to run. If the demo doesn't run or you want to run it again later, find the ATDEMO folder on your hard drive in Windows Explorer and double click the file named Ppview32.exe. Select AT99demo.exe in the selection box and the demo will run. Tutorial Movies You can download and run Our Tutorials as a means of determining how the Animal*Trac system works. Each download file is about 3 to 5 MB so download takes a while. You can also click the option to Run from this location. The file still has to open and install the player so can take some time but it will run in your browser. If you download the movie file, find it in your downloads folder and double click it to run it. Each tutorial is 2 to 3 minutes long and covers one aspect of the Animal*Trac System. If you have trouble with the sound, right click the little speaker icon in the bottom right of your status bar and select adjust sound properties and then increase the volume of Playback.
